Brown Town Reviews:
The Dillinger Escape Plan x Jack The Stripper / / Live At The Prince Bandroom

An intimate night in St. Kilda.

Absolute ripper of a gig, both bands had built up enough suspense for each others sets.
Standing in the back where the crew (sound & lighting) worked during Jack the Strippers set, I had a pretty good vantage point of what was going on, on and off stage.
Hard to keep up with both when you just want to lose it in the bands stage presence and general atmosphere of shame, masochism, admittance, general psychology and utter chaos.
Fine sound samples, fresh and new were used, by both bands.
Dillinger had stolen the show once again and I’m at a loss for words as to how to describe a DEP set.
Pizza was shared, sound was fucked up in one of the guitars, for far too long, too.
The crowd lost it, I lost it, Billy Rhymer stole my heart with a solo, Liam was STOMPIN’ AWAY, Greg was luminescent like a solar flare, Ben’s… Ben, and I couldn’t make out nor remember who they said was playing guitar for them on rhythm.

Was a really sweet night.

TEN OUTTA TEN.
